Dear friends!
Wow, this is our first time using a blog! How modern we are. Trying to work out how this things works and then we'll hopefully be up and running and sending out invitations soon! We are in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The past two weeks have flown by and we've seen and experienced so many incredible things here. What a different life it is here! It's crazy how people here live with so little possessions, amenities and income yet are so unbelievably happy! The generosity and warmth that we've felt from our neighbours and colleagues has made us feel very welcome here. There have been some tough days already when Sam was pick-pocketed and when we had no water for five days, yet the good times certainly make you forget them. We'll be filling this blog with stories, photos, experiences and videos to keep you updated on our time here. Watch this space people!!!!!
Sam and Lila
